Using leverage is a method to amplify returns. With leverage, you will experience greater gains (and losses) than you otherwise would. Several exchange traded funds (ETFs) use leverage to magnify their returns. For example, the ETF UDOW offers three times the daily return of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. So, if the Dow goes up by 1% in a day, UDOW goes up by approximately 3%. Conversely, if the Dow falls by 1% in a day, UDOW would lose 3%.

Trend Prophets offers options to use either leveraged or unleveraged ETFs. The choice is yours. It all depends on your individual risk tolerance, and how much return you want for your chosen level of risk. Leveraged ETFs empower you to make the most money possible using Trend Prophets, but you must be comfortable with the greater risk and daily volatility that comes with them. If you are uncomfortable with high volatility strategies, then we recommend investing without leverage to better insulate yourself against market downturns.

There is no one optimal time. The signals are sent out between 7:00 PM and midnight EST, so it is best to execute the trade the following morning (or Monday morning if the signals are received Friday night). We know that this isn’t always possible.

If you can execute the trade at any time during the day, then we recommend doing so. Just remember that the longer the delay between the time you execute the buy or sell and then day the signal was generated, the more likely it is for your results to differ from what is posted.
Since these are long-term strategies, the timing of the trade will have a minimal impact on overall performance. However, for best results, it is recommended that you trade at the earliest opportunity after receiving the alert to do so.

It is important to remember that you are not opening an account with us. We do not manage your money. The key to Trend Prophets is staying disciplined and following the signals over the long-term. For the best performance, subscribers must execute each trade within the next business day of receiving an alert.

We recognize that this is not always possible. For some funds, trends can last for extended periods of time, so even if you miss an alert by a couple of days, we still recommend executing the trade to get back in sync with the system.

For subscribers who consistently miss the signals and trade at substantially different frequencies than what we recommend, there can be substantial differences between the published performance and what you experience.
